The Charter School East Dulwich is housed in a new, multi-million pound campus
The Sixth Form Study Space is an outstanding facility at the top floor of the main teaching block which is open from 8am-5pm. With impressive views, designated study and charge points, and equipped with chromebooks, printer and resources for work experience & UCAS / careers - it’s a highly modern workspace to encourage mature, independent study.
Students can also enjoy the use of the Sixth Form Café with a dedicated outdoor space, which is open from 8am until 2pm each day serving a selection of hot and cold food from breakfast to lunch.
Our Buildings - Phase One
Construction of the campus is spread over two phases.
Phase One was completed in December 2018. Completed facilities include the vast majority of classrooms and specialist facilities for the study of subjects such as science, design technology and art and design, plus our sports facilities including multiple large AstroTurfs and catering.

Completion of our School Campus has unfortunately been delayed due to the unprecedented impact of the Pandemic and associated challenges to the building industry.
The Charter Schools Educational Trust, Southwark LA, Department for Education and the entire school community remain committed to Phase 2 development. All efforts continue to be made by all involved to ensure that our state-of-the-art facilities are delivered cost-effectively and as soon as possible.
The Charter School East Dulwich continues to provide a full curriculum with careful use of our current buildings. Our main teaching block already provides over 85% of our teaching space including all classrooms, state-of-the-art science labs alongside specialist Art and DT departments. We also benefit from our purpose built Sports and Catering block and in September 2021 took ownership of our new purpose-built MUGA (Multi-Use Games Areas) providing much-needed outdoor sports facilities.
With all preparatory demolition works complete for Phase 2, The Charter School East Dulwich eagerly awaits the delivery of our remaining buildings.
